Our Pastor

Sean Kelly has been the Pastor of First Baptist since November of 2006.

Pastor was reared in a Christian home. His mother is a saved Jew with an amazing salvation testimony

She sought to bring up her children in a godly household. Bro. Kelly was saved as a small child, and called to preach at age 15 while at youth camp.

Pastor Kelly surrendered to God’s call to preach nearly 20 years ago. He served in the Navy after graduating high school, and then received his Bible college training. He has labored in full time ministry for over a decade serving as a Christian School Teacher, Assistant Pastor, Missionary and Pastor.

Pastor has studied at Trinity Baptist College, Virginia Baptist College and Southern Indiana Baptist College. He has earned Bachelor of Theology and Master of Theology degrees. He currently is a doctoral candidate at ShawneeBaptist College.

Pastor is married to Anita Joy Kelly. She grew up in a preacher's home. Her father, Dr. Jeff Alverson, has pastored in the states as well as in Germany as a military missionary. Anita was saved as a teenager, and surrendered her life to be a preacher’s wife. Anita has earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Crown College. She has served as a Christian school teacher in the states and on the foreign mission field. The Kelly’s have three sons. Elijah (5), Ethan (4) and Elliot Judson (named after missionary heroes Jim Elliot and Adoniram Judson) who is 1.
