Missions
First Baptist Church currently many missionaries all around the world.
We have only begun to reach the vast world population with the Gospel. Our desire is to reach our own community as well as the "uttermost part of the earth" for Christ. The primary focus of our missions program is supporting people whose lives are dedicated to church planting or participate in domestic and foreign local churches so as to facilitate those ministries. Our view of missions is that everything be done under the authority of local, independent, fundamental Baptist churches. We do not support any ministry that differs from that philosophy.
We practice the biblically mandated "faith promise" method of missions giving. In 2009 FBC expects to give over $40,000 for world missions!
